oh my gosh, i sooo love my boyfriend lots and lots and lots! [but i'm not supposed to say the L word, so don't tell him i said that!] i'm so happy i wanna cry! he's been sooo super great with me even after i get mad at him for stupid crap and he's coming all the way here to pasadena to take me out to lunch because it's my birthday! i feel so super special! especially after i've been whining and feeling kinda down cuz i wish my friends would do something nice for me cuz i always do something nice for them. and here he has done all this special stuff for me. it's like valentine's day when i knew he was gonna cook me dinner, but he had this whole spread for me with a gazillion candles around and an extra special meal outside on my patio. it was so wonderful i couldn't eat!
it's so funny cuz for a guy who's never been with a girl, he sure knows how treat one well. i guess it's all the presumptions and the "supposed to be" ideas in his head. he has lots of idealisms about life, love, and relationships. sometimes it gets in the way of reality and he has trouble understanding why people behave in a manner in which he doesn't think they ought to be. or why things happen that just don't make any sense. but other times, he carries himself to do what he thinks he's supposed to do. so with his notion of what a boyfriend is, i get all "spoiled" and pampered and feel special. so yay for mee! not that he spoils me all the time. cuz he puts his foot down too. but for my birthweek, it's wonderful to be spoiled!
